MagicLantern is an App that can be used to control color RGBIC LED strip(s).
You can use it to do some controls and settings , such as dimming and grading, setting various dynamic modes and scenes, music rhythms of several sound sources and optional rhythm styles, timer setting for lights on/off, pixel setting, line sequence setting, etc.

Why Choose the Magic Lantern App
I bought the lamp then read all the terrible reviews for the app, and braced for the worst. Honestly, I’m completely surprised; I haven’t had any of the problems the others have experienced. It’s intuitive, works perfectly, and has so many options for light patterns. Either the devs responded to feedback, or my Moto Note G just works better with the app. It only takes one click to sync the lamp (I have to do it each time I open the app).
App works perfectly (Jan 2025) No ads, no glitches, the Bluetooth automatically connects very quickly. If you set the number of pixels, then the curtain features work from the centre as they should.
This app works perfectly based on my perspective. No ads, the apps not glitchy, and the lights themselves are actually really good quality. At first the reviews on this made me nervous, but when I actually downloaded it, the app is really good.
I LOVE the product and this app!! The app is pretty simple but it has the basic functions that you need in order to get the party started. I played music on my phone and over my bluetooth headset, the lights synchronized with the rhythm with no issue. There is a music player interface on the app for the music. I don’t know how to use the sound receiver on the control box. Help? 😅
Works with in car led aftermarket lighting system. Seems like many users don’t like the start up lighting sequence. You can change this by changing the setting under “scene”. It will replace the start up lighing sequence
Downloaded the app. Turned on the light. It literally auto connected without having to do a thing. Gives way more control over options. Not sure why this is rated 2.7. Works 100% for me. Running on SG-S22U with a Miortior corner floor lamp.
Absolutely love this app. I have had multiple different lights and brands including some of the expensive one bliss lights, govee (died faster than any brand I have tried) There are so many options so many things you can do the app is not difficult to use you can group items so that you can turn them all on at the same time or use them all differently I really love this app and it went out of my way to replace all of them with lights that work with this app.
Works!!! I have a Patriot Lighting Smart LED Corner. I had no idea my light was Bluetooth and its very snappy. Maybe the app is updated or I have a very good phone. But even when I close the app, it leaves the setting on. You can control the brightness and there’s SO many more options than the remote it came with. I love the snow, candle, and fire option, it’s very cozy. And I like that my light is sound activated and the app works really well with it.
So far so good. App works perfectly, although there are a lot of settings I haven’t checked out yet. The microphone is awesome and creates some cool light effects as it picks up the sound from our TV. The mic is pretty sensitive and picks up other ambient sounds pretty easily, however you can adjust the sensitivity of the mic to a lower level so that other sounds aren’t picked up easily. Music settings, pixels, all the RGB, GBR, BRG color settings do, etc., I have a lot to figure out.
Woah, didnt even need to set up. After installing the app, giving it some standard permissions, it already was connected to my light. Perfect response, quicker than my smart light bulbs by other brands. Only just started using this but it’s amazing, i have no idea why the rating is so low, but it needs to be higher.
I love this light set on my truck! I use in security. Please add “Knight Rider Scanner” that goes back and forth to the app in the next update app. All the scanner ones goes one way. Doesn’t go back and forth like “Knight Rider” . Also see if you can add multi “Police Flash Patterns” that “Strobes” like police lights. For instance making it burst 2 strobes, 3 strobes up to 5 strobe fast flashes. Also see if the Brightness level can be increase to the app harder to see in the daytime.
